I have been conducting evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults for close to 15 years. People are referred for testing by schools, physicians, therapists, or themselves. I work in collaboration with the client (or their family) in order to answer the question that brought you here, namely trying to understand and resolve the particular problem with which you are struggling. Together we will discuss different testing options and determine which type of evaluation (e.g., psychological, educational, neuropsychological) is going to best answer your question. For both children and adults, I strive to make the testing itself challenging but enjoyable. My goal is to provide evaluations which are timely and “user-friendly” and reports which are readable, useful, and jargon-free. I want clients to understand as much as possible about the process and to feel, after this assessment is complete, that they have a better understanding, not only of the cause of their difficulty, but of how to accomplish the solutions as well.
