Assessment Experience

Dr. Balzac has extensive experience conducting educational, psychological, and neuropsychological assessment. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a wide variety of presenting problems.  She conducts evaluations to assist with diagnostic clarification, educational planning, and treatment planning.  Areas of diagnostic expertise include:

• learning disabilities, including nonverbal learning disability
• attention deficit disorders
• anxiety disorders
• mood disorders
• more severe psychiatric disabilities
• developmental disorders, including Asperger's Disorder and other Pervasive Developmental Disorders.

Dr. Balzac is experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults.
